Salina Makes

Grew up on a small farm in north central Kansas. This childhood built and created my mindset that I want to share through Salina Makes. A hard working, creative, get it done mentality. Didn’t always have the best situations, tools, or know how, but creativity and determination usually wins. I have a Mechanical Engineering degree and worked in that field for 10 years. I’ve learned through the years that my passion lies with building and teaching with others. I hope you can visit and feel the joy that comes from creating something with your hands.

Salina Makes Mission -

Our makerspace sole purpose is to provide creative and nonjudgmental space for anyone! Salina Makes has tools to accommodate you in almost every avenue of building/crafting.

A large yellow metal commercial building with a wide open garage door, next to a smaller white building with a metal roof. The smaller building has a sign that reads 'Salina Makerspace.' There are two chairs outside the white building, a trash bin labeled 'Salina Waste Systems,' and a sidewalk in the foreground. The sky is overcast with gray clouds, and trees are visible in the background.
